Last month, 26 sixth-grade students from Thomas C. Marsh Preparatory Academy (TC Marsh Prep) in Dallas ISD celebrated their successful completion of PAVE, a leadership program offered by Philanthropy Kids.
PAVE is a course designed to teach kids how to give back and get involved in their communities. Participants develop key leadership skills such as strategic planning, public speaking, and team management. Each participant utilizes that training to identify how they can use their strengths and interests to creatively make a difference.
Philanthropy Kids is grateful for TC Marsh Prep Academy Principal, Dawna Duke Ed.D., and Career & Technical Education Teacher, Sara Cram, for bringing PAVE into their space and giving the facilitators the opportunity to work with their brilliant students. We hope to continue this partnership for years to come as we continue to build a generation of givers in North Texas.
